6th Annual Colorado SBDC Women's Small Business Conference

July 29, 2015 | 7:30 am-6:30 pm
Fort Lewis College, Durango

Join the Colorado Small Business Development Center Network for the 6th Annual Colorado SBDC Women's Small Business Conference in Durango on Wednesday, July 29! This event sells out every year - don't wait to buy your tickets! Join 300 other like-minded female entrepreneurs for an exciting, interactive day packed with hands-on business training seminars, free one-on-one consulting, exhibitor tables featuring regional resources, plenty of networking opportunities, and more! Leave the conference feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, with plenty of action items, connections, and inspiration to take your business to the next level of success!

Due to such an outstanding response at the SBDC Women's Conference in Copper last fall, this event will feature keynote speaker Sylvia Theisen of She Takes the Lead!™ Sylvia spent the first 13 years of her career in a psychotherapist's office. No, not on the couch (although she's done plenty of that!) but running a successful practice counseling employees of Fortune 500 companies. During her years of listening to corporate America, Sylvia developed strategies to help clients overcome burnout, reduce stress and to enjoy a high level of work/life balance.

Wanting a bit of a shake up in her own life, Sylvia plunged into a second career in residential real estate sales. Closing over $100 million in sales, she received five star ratings each year for excellence in negotiating and customer satisfaction.

Today, Sylvia is founder of She Takes The Lead™ and provides keynote speeches, training and coaching to women in business. Using story, humor and audience participation, attendees are guaranteed to be engaged and will leave with a straight forward action plan to get results.
