The town of Kremmling, Kremmling Area Chamber of Commerce, Northwest Council of Governments and Northwest Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) are pleased to announce a joint partnership that will bring the SBDC’s experience and resources to Kremmling.
The Northwest SBDC team is opening a satellite office in the Kremmling Visitor’s Center. The Kremmling Chamber’s executive director, Christine Mahorney, is becoming a certified business consultant, and will serve as a co-host of the program and as an onsite resource.
“This is an exciting opportunity for both current and prospective business owners in West Grand county,” Mahorney said. “We hope business owners will take advantage of the deep resources that will be available through the SBDC.”
The SBDC helps businesses achieve their goals by providing free, confidential counseling and various training programs.
“We are just getting started but already we have created strong partnerships with business throughout Grand County. We can’t wait to meet more,” said Lindsey Stapay, NW SBDC director.
The SBDC combines information and resources from federal, state and local governments with those of the educational system and the private sector to meet the specialized and complex needs of the small business community. Regulatory, management, financial and marketing experts work in partnership to provide entrepreneurs with crucial information that can mean the difference between success and failure.
