Executive Director, Southern Colorado SBDC
As the executive director of the Southern Colorado SBDC, Caroline Trani is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of key small business development programs and strategies targeted to the Southern Colorado community.
Prior to joining the SBDC, Trani served as the district grants and economic development director for the 3rd Congressional District. Before her position on congressional staff, she worked several years in strategic marketing and community development in Pueblo and Colorado Springs. She serves on several boards, including the Southern Colorado Economic Development District, the Pueblo Retention & Expansion Program and El Pomar Emerging Leaders.
Trani earned a dual bachelor's degree in mass communications and sociology from the University of Southern Colorado (now Colorado State University-Pueblo) and a master's degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix.
