Colorado Tourism Office Women's Small Business Conference Scholarship

Collaboration between the Colorado Tourism Office (CTO) and the Colorado SBDC helps tourism businesses to attend this conference for free through an application-based process. CTO is Colorado’s state tourism agency and is a division of the Office of Economic Development and International Trade. The mission of the CTO is to drive traveler spending through promotion and development of compelling, sustainable travel experiences throughout our four-corner state. 

 

Eligibility Requirement: Start-Up entrepreneur or current business owner working within the tourism industry in Colorado. Call CTO staff at 303-892-3840 with questions regarding your tourism occupation eligibility. Please note that you can only receive this scholarship twice. 

 

Scholarship applicants will be notified of their application status within five business days of applying via email. Awarded scholarship applicants will be required to pre-register and pay for the event. Recipients will be refunded 100% of their fees upon checking in at the registration table the day of the event. Scholarship recipients who do not attend the event will not be reimbursed for the registration fees. 

 

CTO scholarship recipients shall be required to complete a short survey within 30 days of attending the conference. Failure to complete the survey will result in a forfeiture of the reimbursed registration fees.
